Lloyd Mix bested Dallas Davison via doctor’s stoppage towards the end of the fourth round at BKFC 44.

When asked to walk viewers through his emotions after this win, Mix said, “Well, my emotions is this right here, that boy, Dallas, man, tough kid. I knew he was going to be a tough kid. He’s from Montana. And you know what? I had to do some thinking and some game planning to win that.”

“The crowd, it was the hometown boy was behind him. But I think I won some fans tonight. For everybody in Montana, come on, y’all. You know I love you and I’m going to fight even harder for you next time.”

The win did not come without adversity as Mix ate some big shots. He almost went down and was wobbled but said he was aiming to go the distance like Rocky.

Mix quipped about how he was not a fan of doctor stoppages and thinks a Davison rematch is in order.

Lloyd Mix overcame a car accident last year to get back to action here. He was clearly amped at the weigh-ins and chomping at the bit for this BKFC comeback. After this sophomore BKFC bout, Mix is now 2-0 with this return to the ring after over a year and a half away.

Beyond bare-knuckle, Mix is a Bellator MMA vet who has a win over Patricky Pitbull and fought names like Dave Rickels and Michael Chandler.

When asked what’s the biggest difference between MMA and bare-knuckle fighting, Mix stated,

“Bare knuckle fighting is way more exciting, way better to do. Eight seconds to get up and we’re taking over MMA. I love MMA. That’s what I was all about. But look at this (gestures to crowd). Look at this. Yeah, look at this. Look at this. That’s what I’m talking about. Bare Knuckle’s, where it’s at.”

Mix went down from 175 to 165 lbs for this one and adjusted fine. ‘Cupcake’ is even eyeing possible opportunities at 155 and 145 pounds going forward in his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship journey.
