Justification by FAITH Orthodox vs. Protestant See Notes for a Correction- I challenge All to Listen

NOTE: Here is my correction, I said in my video for the reading in Luke 4:22-30- that is was about Jesus being tempted by Satan. The correction is this the reading of Luke 4:22-30, covered the unbelief in His hometown of Nazareth, I apologize for my mistake...

Greek word of the day- εὔσπλαγχνος eúsplanchnos, yoo'-splangkh-nos; from G2095 and G4698; well compassioned, i.e. sympathetic:—pitiful, tender-hearted.

1Pe 3:8

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, becourteous;[fn]

Romans 4:13-25- "Abraham's Children: Faithful Believers"

As we see in vv. 13-18: "RIGHTEOUSNESS"- does not come from genetic or even ethnic ancestry. "THE LAW" required one to become a Jew, and the law only "BRINGS ABOUT WRATH" (v. 15). Why? Because its purpose was not to save, but to make all of us aware of our sins or "TRANSGRESSIONS." True righteousness comes from God's "PROMISE" (see v. 14) and is received by"FAITH." The righteous are all those who receive God's promise in faith and not those "OF THE LAW"(see v. 14), that is, those who are merely physical offspring of "ABRAHAM." So the true 'DESCENDANTS" of Abraham are all believers, for he is the father of all who believe, whether Jew or Gentile.

See v. 25- Jesus died for the forgiveness of "OUR OFFENSES." See also Romans 3:24: " being justified [a]freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

"Greek word" for faith - ("pistis")- strong or high moral conviction of truth- faithfulness, and fidelity or even assurance. Abraham a great example of what this truly means to have real "FAITH"

We see in vv. 22-30- we see double responses of both marveling-(v. 22) and rejection-(v. 29)- and this was foreshadowing Christ and His rejection by the entire Jewish nation during His trial before Pilate (see John 19:14-15).

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’
