Parts of Colorado woke to a hazy sunrise on Wednesday, June 14, as smoke from Canadian wildfires continued to affect the United States. A layer of smoke was causing hazy conditions but was not affecting air quality in Colorado, the National Weather Service said. The Canadian wildfire smoke was most seriously affecting the Midwest this week, previously verified satellite images showed. In Minnesota, the smoke led to unhealthy air quality on Wednesday, according to alerts by the NWS.
