Citizens, the information belongs to you. It is your government not theirs. In the state of GA if a citizen files an open records request there are rules that every government agency has to comply with. If after so many days the citizen has a right to sue.
The custodians of records are to supply the records within 3 days to the citizen. If it will take more than 3 days they are to reply back to the applicant on the time frame and the cost of getting the documents.
