James Web Telescope

The James Webb Space Telescope is the most ambitious space observatory ever built, set to revolutionize our understanding of the universe. It has been over 20 years in the making and represents a global effort like no other.
The ambitious project of building James Webb was taken up by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). It was named after James E. Webb, who served as NASA’s administrator during the Apollo program and guided the agency from 1961 to 1968.
