When Sir Isaac Newton Got It Wrong

Sir Isaac Newton was born on the 4th January 1643 in Lincolnshire, England. He was a mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, and author known the world over as a key player in the scientific revolution which laid the foundation of classical mechanics.

Newton formulated the laws of motion and universal gravitation, which became the dominant scientific viewpoint for the next 200 years. This was until it was expanded upon with the theory of relativity by Albert Einstein.
