After having several big box store grills that cost about $200 and last 5 years or less. I decided it was time to buy a nicer one.
While I did not get mine from Amazon they may be the only place to buy this model now as Weber has a new version with open cart out that replaces this one.
Mine came from Lowes when they were changing over to the new model. I like the closed cart better than the new version. This grill cooks much better and more even than any gas grill I have owned.
Heats up...

Heats up fast even in cold weather it can get to 500 or ever 600°f. I have made steaks, chops, burgers, chicken, fish and bratwurst all came out great with wonderful grill marks.
I have even smoked on it and made cedar plank salmon. I even cook vegies on it and entire meals. Cleaning it is really not hard.
It is made that the grates come out then flame tents, from there you can scrape the fire box with a plastic putty knife all down to the removable tray.
Then pull that out to clean. I see some reviews saying the paint is peeling off the inside of the lid, it is not paint it is grease and smoke residue from cooking, just clean it off.One thing I do have a problem with is the fuel guage tank hanger thing.
My tanks dont have a cut out that it will hang on. Not all Webers fault for that though..
Assembly took one screwdriver and one . Took about 90 minutes. Grill is beautiful and heats to 500F in about 10 minutes. Would recommend. Search Youtube for weber 310 assembly before you Put together.
Disclaimer: I only just got this and Ive only used it once. A previous review mentioned checking out a YouTube tutorial before assembly. Very sage advice!
Definitely remove all the pieces from inside the grill box before removing it from the box.
It took me less than an hour and a half, and thats with multiple pauses to take care of other things like laundry.None of my pieces were damaged but one small non-essential part was missing.
Ive contacted Weber and Im waiting for a response. Im confident that Ill be made whole. This is my first REAL grill. Ive had other cheap and/or smaller grill that served their purpose.
I finally decided to put on my big boy apron and go for the gusto!
I did months of research and decided on the Spirit E310.I wanted something with enough real estate to accommodate all the things my friends bring for my Sunday afternoon pot luck bbqs without waiting hours for everything to be ready.I also wanted something with a fully enclosed base so that at least some of my accessories, of which there are many.Reviews both here and numerous other sites gave this honey high scores.
Everyone mentioned how sturdy and long lasting this grill is. I know that I will need to care for it and I fully intend to do so. I bought a cover that many other reviewers raved about.
Yukon Glory 7569. It seems more sturdy than any other Ive had or seen. Only time will tell.I couldnt wait to test it out so I fired it up and it started immediately.
It took about 15 minutes to get to 500 degrees and thats with the fumes of an almost empty LP tank. I cooked a couple sausages and they were the best thing ever.Tomorrow is the real test; my first pot luck of the season.
Ive got two racks of ribs and the list of goodies is pretty significant. Ill try to remember to come back this time next April to let you know how the first year went.
I owned a Weber Genesis a few years ago and decided to sell it and purchase a combination smoker/griller. What a mistake... I ended up selling the smoker/griller and then used the money to purchase the Weber Spirit E-310.
