My Journey From Post-Trib to Pre-Trib

Why would anyone walk away from post-tribulationism and become a pretribulation rapture advocate? This is my story. As a babe in the Lord in the early 80's I embraced the post-tribulation rapture position because it looked to me like Matthew 24 had the gathering of the church after the tribulation. In the mid-80s I became convinced that this understanding of Matthew 24 faced an impossibility (which I share in the video), so I embraced a pre-wrath rapture at the seventh trumpet. But with a few years, this position was dealt a fatal blow by the Bible. The saints in the tribulation are always Jews in Jewish circumstances. In the fall of 1989 I was convinced that the pretribulation rapture alone harmonized the entire body of prophetic passages in both the NT and the OT. Three decades of study since then has only solidified my position.

Sorry about the misplaced text. The text box stating "should be Revelation chapter 11" should be where I mentioned Revelation chapter 3. When I added the intro snippet to the video, I forgot that this box would be moved down by ten seconds.
