Apostasia in 2 Thess. 2:3

Is the word apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 a reference to the rapture or to apostasy? Find out the real truth in this video!

I demonstrate that those who argue for the rapture understanding have misunderstood the entry in the Liddell & Scott lexicon, embraced the word root and cognate fallacy, overlooked a mountain of evidence in the early English and Latin Bibles, ignored the actual usage in Koine Greek, and overlooked the testimony of the early church fathers.

I then demonstrate that the only legitimate sense that can be considered is that of revolt, rebellion, falling away, apostasy.

There is no translation conspiracy. The entire problem --- and the entire case for the rapture understanding --- boils down to superficial investigation. We would do well to take the advice of Sherlock Holmes, “It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.” We need more research and less jumping to conclusions.
