Pretrib Objection — The Last Generation Escapes Tribulation?

Folks often object to the pretribulation rapture by raising the objection that it wouldn't be fair to the saints of the rest of church history if the final generation got a free pass from tribulation. But this objection is rhetoric, not factual.
