Sin is Rebellion

1 John 3:4
"Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness."

Living in sin, choosing to live in sin, and being content in sin is a form of rebellion. It's rebellion against God and His intended order. All rebellion is a form of idolatry breaking God's commandments to us. Don't allow sin to lead you down the path of rebellion and idolatry. There's a better way, and that way is Jesus.
