Last month, in May of 2023, Daniel confronted a burglar at his family's Los Angeles home. The intruder stole over $25,000 of podcasting equipment and was captured on film coming back to wipe down his prints, when Daniel encountered him and fought back. We're going to talk about what he's learned from the experience, and how his faith in God, community and family have helped him through this.

Daniel Lobell is a Los Angeles based comedian, comic book creator, and podcast host. He is the host of the Modern Day Philosophers podcast, which features comedians like Bill Burr, Brian Regan, Maria Bamford talking philosophy. He is also the creator of the “Fair Enough” autobiographical comic book series, and has two albums out on Stand Up! Records: “Some Kind of Comedian” (2013) and “The Nicest Boy in Barcelona” (2017). In 2022 he launched a mobile recording studio in a retro fitted school bus that he rents out called “the Podcast Bus”. He is married to writer/publicist Kylie Ora Lobell and is the proud father of two little girls Sophia and Ella.
