Great quality from a great company. I was looking at a number of different scopes and narrowed it down to this one and the nxs. After doing some research and contacting night force they confirmed that the SHV is built just as sturdy and durable as the nxs line.
I didn’t need or want the extra features that came with the nxs line I just needed something bullet proof. So far I’m ver satisfied. Comparing it to my leupold vx5 the glass quality is similar.
The scope tracks and hold zero great. Would highly recommend if looking for a tactical style scope.

The moment you look through this scope you are going to say.....this is where the extra money was spent. Amazing clarity. If Jesus ever has to pick up a long gun. He will be using Nightforce glass. So you ask WWJD. He would buy Nightforce.
Like all Nightforce scopes, this one is really, really good. Excellent glass all the way to the edges, for sure, but what means more to me is how well it tracks.
With Nightforce, theres never a question: when you dial in an adjustment, you get exactly what you expect to get. I totally love that. It might not be quite as bright as he NXS, but its substantially less costly, too.
