Shave Horse - My Three Legged Friend

In this video, I'll show you how to make a wooden shave horse, a traditional woodworking tool that has been used for centuries to shape wood. I'll walk you through the process of building your own wooden shave horse.

Shave horses, also known as shaving horses, are traditional woodworking tools that have been used for centuries. They were first used in Europe during the medieval period and were a common tool for carpenters and other woodworkers. The shave horse was used to hold and shape wooden pieces by clamping them between the horse's jaws and then using a draw knife or other cutting tool to shave down the wood.
