Anycubic was kind enough to send me this printer for review but my thoughts are my own. This printer was packaged very securely and was printing 5 minutes after I pulled it out of the box. The resin comes in a variety of colours and paints extremely well after curing. I will never use a filament printer for model making again. SLA resin printers do require some additional considerations in regards to health and the environment so please do your research and follow all manufacturer recommendations.

The lamp is based on a retro 60's lamp I found online and was originally made out of teak. My lamp is made out of Sapele wood and it is pretty close in size and shape to the original. I really wish I could find an original to see how they drilled the holes for the wiring. That was the trickiest part of the entire build. The shade looks great, casts beautiful shapes on the wall and does the perfect job diffusing the light from the relatively dim Edison bulb I have in there. My only regret was not making two lamps.

I used Simple Green Heavy Duty to wash the excess resin off the prints because ISP was difficult to track down (thanks covid...)
