triglycerides, can't get rid of it,
[if burn carbs, not fat]
fat hangs around in blood,
becomes smaller and denser
Liver will not accept these,
they go to macrophage
[scavenger receptor]

oxidized & glucose sticks to it
[glycation]
Macrophages love this!!

through blood vessel wall
-oxidizes
-macrophages seek it out
-cause
INFLAMMATION & PLAQUE

If expose macrophage to LDL
they make more scavenger
receptors [more inflammation]

When lipids oxidize,

-causes more inflammation
Same with glycation, signal
sent out
So: inflammation & plaque
continue to grow
