The long sword has the words "King Yue Goujian's personal sword."

The sword had been buried under the soil for more than 2,000 years, yet when it got unearthed, it was still sharp and shining like new.

Researchers were so amazed by this sword they had to stop and question how the ancient sword could be as good as new.
Why was it still shining and sharp?
Through further research, it was found that the sword was coated with a layer of chromium which is an extremely corrosion-resistant metal, that is rare and extremely difficult to extract even in today's world.

Since this sword was made for a king, I can only imagine that whoever created it had access to electrical power. You can't just simply throw it in a camp fire and think that it would reach 2000 degrees to extract Chromium.
