Rep. MTG pushes to defund Special Counsel Jack Smith and his investigation against Trump

Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) announced on the House floor Monday that she is introducing an appropriations rider to defund Special Counsel Jack Smith, his officer, and the investigation into former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents. “This is a weaponized government attempt to take down the top political enemy and leading presidential candidate of the United States Donald J Trump,” said Rep. Taylor-Greene.
