Headless ‘vampire’ remains discovered in 1800s Polish mass grave site

During road construction in the village of Luzino in northern Poland, workers made a chilling discovery—an extensive mass graveyard containing headless skeletons and “anti-vampire” artifacts.

The unearthed burial ground was found as Kościelna Street was being widened near an 18th-century church, according to Poland’s The First News.

Approximately 450 bodies were found, many of which showed signs of being exhumed and reinterred, the New York Post has reported.
