It’s had being chronically ill

Being newly diagnosed with any life-threatening disease is incredibly terrifyy. I had so many people say to” at least it’s not worse” but just because I’m not dying, doesn’t mean this is not incredibly life-changing and terrifying. My mother died at the age of 27 from the same disease that I have. I have feared my entire life that I would have lupus. And I don’t only have lupus I have lupus nephritis, which is kidney disease. As I am speaking to you right now, my kidneys are failing. I also have a brain disease called pseudotumor cerebri that has completely ruined my life. So don’t ever tell someone that has chronic illness. At least it’s not worse or it could be worse because to them to me this is worse. #lupus #chronicillness
