I've been asked twice about household plants in keeping indoor air clean and so far, not been given the opportunity to answer yet for tv or radio. Here's the article 2 reporters sent to me to answer, then didn't allow me to answer:

The problem is this 'study' enclosed the plants in a glass chamber and pumped the chamber full of volatile compounds (supposedly) and then claim that 'Plants can clean up a room in 8 hours'.

Say what????? How do you measure that if only testing the plant in a small enclosed glass space????

Recent science says a wall of plants (a 'green wall') can 'possibly' clear the air inside a home or building but is it sustainable and affordable, and measurable in saying it can prevent major health issues such as cancer?

Though the Time article falsely says NASA got plants for space to scrub the air clean but didn't mention NASA had to create the ActivePure technology to keep the air clean from what the plants were putting back into the enclosed space (the plants were for growing food).

Anything online at ScienceDaily.com is just a paid advertisement by either Ambius or UTS to promote the Ambius' green wall system.
