At least one firefighter and four civilians were injured after the New York City Fire Department responded to a five-alarm fire in Soundview, New York, on Sunday, June 11, the FDNY said. The FDNY said emergency services were called to Noble Avenue in Soundview, the Bronx, shortly after 7 pm on Sunday night. The fire was found to be burning in the loft of a six-story apartment building, the FDNY said. All residents in the building were evacuated and housed elsewhere for the night, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L Gibson said on Twitter. The cause of the fire was not reported.
