Can We Touch Heaven?

Do you have any words that are like your favorite words to say or look at? I know it’s kind of weird, but one of the words I like to say and even think about is ‘ethereal’. Yes, ethereal. Say a few times. It’s kind of cool. Now look at its definition:

1. Extremely light or delicate.
2. Of the celestial spheres; heavenly.
3. Spiritual or otherworldly.
4. Of or relating to ether.

Right? You have to admit. It’s growing on you.

As it says in definition #2, heaven is thought of as ethereal. It’s there, but not quite there. It’s real but kind of … you know the right word to say … ethereal. And as we mentioned last week the heaven we are talking about now is the current heaven, not the new heaven and new earth heaven. So is that heaven, like ether, otherworldly, kind of there, but untouchable, or can we actually ‘touch heaven?’
