3 dead, 3 injured in possible graduation party shootout in Maryland

According to the police, a possible shootout occurred at a residence in Annapolis, Maryland, during a graduation party on Sunday night, resulting in three fatalities and three individuals sustaining injuries.

During an evening news conference, Annapolis Police Chief Edward C. Jackson announced that a person of interest had been taken into custody, and authorities had potentially recovered up to two firearms.

The current conditions of the injured individuals have not been disclosed, although one of them was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, located approximately 30 miles north of Annapolis, as stated in a release by the Annapolis police.

The deceased victims, aged between their early 20s and around 50, were discovered outside the residence, Chief Jackson confirmed, NBC News reported.
