Bus carrying wedding guests in Australian wine region rolls over, killing 10 and injuring 25

On a misty evening in Australia’s wine country, tragedy struck as a bus transporting wedding guests veered off the road, resulting in the loss of 10 lives and leaving 25 individuals injured, according to authorities on Monday.

Police Assistant Commissioner Tracy Chapman revealed that the 58-year-old driver has been apprehended and is currently detained at a Cessnock police station, awaiting charges, the Associated Press has reported.

While Chapman did not disclose specific allegations or confirm whether speed played a role, she informed reporters that there is substantial evidence to support forthcoming charges.
