The indictment against President Trump is, in a word, damning. That's not hyperbole; that's a clear-eyed assessment of the document. Trump worked to keep the FBI in the dark about what documents he had. He asked lawyers to destroy documents. He might even be on tape bragging about having classified documents.

Yeah. It's bad.

But what about a country that has targeted Donald Trump for seven years? A country that didn't prosecute Hillary Clinton for actions far worse than the allegations about Trump? a country that seems to be looking the other way on President Biden, Hunter Biden and bribery...and other criminal acts?
