Sword Coast Legends 21: Duregar Prison Escape

Here's where things start to come together game play wise, and fall apart narratively. No one cares about spoilers, but you're warned.

Ok. The game takes Brynn from you -- she's actually secretly been a succubus this entire time... which makes her personal quest super weird, but it does explain a lot of why Brynn seemed kind of.. hot for anyone and everyone. Because she was a lust demon, not Brynn. How sad. She's gone. No more ranger in the party.

The boss fight here is an Illithid with a dragon strafing us, along with duregar slave adds. It's actually a really good fight. It still has the problem a lot of these fights have -- they're a little long with bloated HP totals -- but that's a routine D&D problem.

Then, we find out: the designers seemed to forget the camp dialogue between these events. No one responds to the fact our friend Brynn has been dead this entire time. Just a huge, narrative miss. Anyway, time stamps below. Next time we should complete the main game and start Rage of Demons with a new character!
