I made it through another day unscathed and for that I’m grateful. I’m also grateful for my wonderful family, I’m grateful to have a great boss and grateful to have two days off. It’s been a long run and some down time from work is needed and appreciated.

I’ll never forget the day I was talking with my father, he was in his 90s and he said to me “I can’t believe where the time went” and as these days, weeks, months and years are flying past I relate to his statement more and more. Time stands still for no one he would say…and it’s true. When you’re young and carefree it seems as life is an eternity, but then one day it hits you and you realize how short life really is.
