It's perfect when space is at a premium. There wasn't much room between the bed and wall, so a narrow bookcase was what I needed. Turning it on the side exactly right for the space.. We added some blocks to get it at the height I wanted.
I got this bookcase to make a house for our calico critters and it worked very good. If you buying it to keep your books in it, it’s still good, but little small. But it really depends on you, what size you want it. Overall it’s good bookcase for kids.
