Truk Lagoon Submarine I-169

I-169 forward hatch. The submarine sunk when executing an emergency dive without her captain at the start of Operation Hailstone. A sea valve was left open and the boat flooded. The bow was destroyed when the Japanese depth charged it some time later to prevent the boat from being captured by the US.
