What can a $195,000 Black Hornet drone do? MilTec by MilitaryTV

The newest Pd-100 Black Hornet 3, also called Personal Reconnaissance System (PRS) by FLIR Systems, weighs less than a tenth of a pound and is just under seven inches long. The complete system comes with a docking station for two drones to protect them when not in use, as well as a wearable touchscreen device and a controller.

The most obvious difference between the Black Hornet Nano and traditional UAVs like the Global Hawk, MQ-9 Reaper and the new Loyal Wingman is size. Prox Dynamics AS, the Norwegian company responsible for the development of the Black Hornet, has set itself the task of “designing, producing and selling the smallest and most advanced UAV in the world”. Little more than a soldier's finger, the miniature unmanned helicopter appears to have delivered on that promise.
