There’s a lot to say about this one…. Joseph Lloyd from (Lloyd Vehicle Consulting) and I had planned to meet at the Morgan Factory, swap cars and do a double review. He was driving a beautiful 1998 Volvo C70 T5 in Cassis Pearl Metallic and I was in the 1996 850 T5 in Nautical Blue…

What we ended up with is this... Fear and Loathing in Las Malvern - A YouTube Colab Gone Wrong. Roadkill and Oil Leaks Galore.

My Volvo 850 T5 was leaking so much oil that I had to use the black 2.5 non turbo. Then our very serious video review got out of hand quickly…. We ended up causing an environmental disaster in a hotel car park and a wildlife disaster on the Herefordshire border. Then the weather turned and we were basically caught in some of the worst rain I can ever remember.

I’ve left a whole heap of the footage intact for you to enjoy (and endure) the whole journey with us.

We have some spirited driving, some beige interiors, a little bit of animal welfare, a minor foray into farming politics and the price of a cow. We also do Volvo turbo values, assess the car market, debate the legality of eating road kill and somewhere, buried deep within the video is a double car review.
