Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu Ordered Wagner come under Russian Federation

From July 1, all volunteers in the Russian Federation will be required to sign contracts with the RF Armed Forces .

The corresponding order was signed by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. It also applies to private military companies.

"This will give the volunteer formations the necessary legal status," the website of the Russian Defense Ministry says.

Note that the main such formation in Russia is the Wagner PMC.

That is, the "Wagnerites", in fact, were obliged to legalize themselves under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation until July 1 (formally, private military companies were banned in Russia before).
