VHS Film Effect/Look - Premiere Pro CC Tutorial (+ FREE PRESET)

Learn how to create the VHS retro camcorder film effect/look in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 using no plugins. This EASY video editing tutorial will make your footage look old using built-in video effects, color grading, and other techniques.

STEPS
1. Apply the video preset, "Wave Warp" on your desired clip.
2. Set the "Wave Type" to "Square"
3. Set the "Wave Height" to 10
4. Set the "Wave Width" to 1000
5. Set the "Direction" to 0°
6. Set the "Wave Speed" to 0.1
7. Set the "Pinning" to "All Edges"
8. Apply the video preset, "VR Digital Glitch" on your desired clip.
9. Set the "Distortion Rate" to 0%
10. Apply the video preset, "Noise" on your desired clip.
11. Set the "Amount of Noise" to 20%.
12. Use the "Color Curves" in "Lumetri Color" to decrease highlights, increase shadows, and decrease saturation & vibrance.

In this tutorial, the "RGB Split Effect" or "VR Digital Glitch" (video effect), "Wave Warp" (video effect), "Noise" (video effect) and "Faded Film Film Look" (color grading technique) are used.
