Finding Rest in Christ- Matthew 11:28-30

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am [a]gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The "YOKE" of Christ is the submission to the Kingdom of God. In the OT "YOKE" was a sign of hardships, burdens, and responsibilities, but don't worry because in Christ, the "YOKE IS EASY" and His burden is light. For the power of God works in each of us. Furthermore, the reward is infinitely greater than any effort any man could put forth. "GENTLE in v. 29- means "meek"- for meek is the state of being content.

This evening if any of you are having difficulties whether in hardships, burdens, or even certain responsibilities, find your rest in Christ this evening. I'm taking a break due to having spiritual fatigue, and some other things are going on. But I have no worries because I'm finding my rest in our Lord this evening.

The Book of Jeremiah study will pick back up in three days, l love you so very much and I'm praying for you all and for the rest of the world...
