In an effort to amplify their voices and raise awareness about the issue of "global warming," prominent climate activists from Europe are expanding their United States franchise called Declare Emergency. The objective is to extend their influence from Europe to America, seeking to make a significant impact.

During a recent videoconference, European environmental advocates provided guidance to their U.S. counterparts on effective fundraising strategies to support their disruptive actions. They also shared techniques for expanding membership and recruiting new individuals who are willing to engage in acts of civil disobedience, with the intention of being apprehended, thereby becoming frontline activists in more forceful protests.

Already, tens of thousands of demonstrators have been successfully mobilized in Europe, causing major disruptions and resulting in substantial financial losses for cities. Their aim is to replicate this level of enthusiasm and engagement within the United States, drawing upon the similar unrest witnessed in the aftermath of the George Floyd incident.

Roger Hallam, co-founder of XR, expressed their vision during the online gathering with a few dozen eco-activists based in the United States, stating, "Our objective is to launch a large-scale civil disobedience campaign addressing the climate crisis in the United States."
