THIS VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Few things have changed my life as much as what I am about to share with you today. I have been learning all this over a forty-year span of time. Light your candle, listen to the music of Fernando Ortega, and sit back and wonder about these things with me!

For those of us who are born of God, the scriptures say that Jesus has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His son (Colossians 1:13). The victory over the darkness is ours in Him. But, check out this significant positional change that occurs for those who trust in Jesus.

The Natural Man was made a little lower than the angels (Psalms 8:5). Therefore, the whole world lies in the power of the evil one (1John 5:19). In fact, we also all formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2).

But, the One who knit you together in your mother’s womb had greater intentions for you, than serving your own will, or the will of the fallen angels (Psalms 139:13). He intended to put His pleasure in you – Jesus – YAHshua. For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure - as a witness of His great glory (Philippians 2:13).

So we see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely Jesus. He was made a little lower than the angels, just as we were (Hebrews 2:9). However, though He was tempted in all things as we are, yet He was without sin (Hebrews 4:15). He did not follow fallen angel temptations for evil as we did. You see it had to be this way… since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is the devil (Hebrews 2:14). And having disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them having triumphed over them through Him (Colossians 2:15).

For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9). When He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:20) far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come (Ephesians 1:21).

And He put all things in subjection under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:22), which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:23).

For those of us who put our hope in Him, WE have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer we who live, but Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself up for us (Galatians 2:20). He reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2Corinthians 5:18). And He also raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). That He might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives (Hebrews 2:15).

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1John 4:4). In Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority (Colossians 2:10). Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven (Luke 10:20).

To Him be the Glory in all these things. Amen.
