MY LATEST EXPERIENCE WITH THE VA DISABILITY DEPARTMENT ( true story ) ~***

The VA lost most of the Vietnam Veterans files in a fire in St. Louis making returning Soldiers, Airman, and Sailors shit out of luck in many cases. No paperwork sometimes meant no benefits. This was particularly true for Special Forces, Troops involved with CIA had their records automatically classified and virtually unobtainable - I know this as a fact from trying to help a widow of a Vietnam Veteran try to get survivor benefits.
