Miraculous Rescue: Four Children Found Alive After Weeks in Colombia's Amazon Jungle

Four children, aged 13, nine, four, and one, have been rescued after surviving a plane crash in Colombia's Amazon jungle and spending weeks on their own. The children's mother and two pilots died in the crash, which occurred on 1 May. The children were missing for 40 days before being found.

A large-scale rescue operation involving soldiers and local communities was launched to locate the children. The siblings, belonging to the Huitoto indigenous group, were found by search teams and received medical attention. They have been flown to Bogota for further treatment.
