Irish Slaves in America

My great grandmother’s name was Smilie. You might recognize that as an Irish name. I was challenged recently by a man of color that I had no idea what it meant to be a slave in America. I challenged him back with this video. I have never claimed once I was entitled to anything because of how my ancestors were treated. Likewise, I take offense when people say THEY are entitled to something because theirs were. We do not live in those times any longer. However, we should never forget what happened. The Irish slavery was not taught in today’s schools, because it doesn’t conform to the history that the government would have us know. So here it it for you. NEVER FORGET!
