NCGOP Convention 2023 voted to censure Republican U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis

The delegates overwhelmingly voted to censure Republican U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis, citing his record on gay marriage and other important issues. The vote today (Saturday) can't remove Tillis from office, but it serves as a message that the party base isn't happy with him. We feel Tillis' votes in Congress too often goes against the official GOP platform.
