First, the pedals are low-quality plastic. Theyre okay for light riding, but Id recommend an upgrade if you plan on taking this bike on any serious trails.
Second, the front fork is average at best. Theres not a lot of travel, so it can feel a bit stiff. However, this is to be expected at this price point.
Other than those two things, Im really happy with this bike. It rides smoothly and the rear shock is pretty good. The 21-speed Shimano gears work well and make it easy to tackle hills and rough terrain.
The bike also has dual disc brakes, which provides great stopping power. Overall, Id say that this is a great value for the price. Its not a high-end mountain bike, but its more than capable of handling some serious off-road riding.
Plus, it looks amazing. Im really happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, affordable mountain bike.
