UNION CANAL: Edinburgh to Glasgow

The Edinburgh and Glasgow Union Canal opened in 1822 to connect the two major cities of Scotland and bring coal and minerals to the capital city. It connects with the Forth and Clyde Canal at the Falkirk Wheel. The two canals together total a distance of 56 miles (approximately 90 kilometers). After I found out about the canal last August, I was determined to bicycle the entire distance. I finally was able to do the trip now and I hope you enjoy the video. I also show you a café in Edinburgh and some street art from the Colinton Tunnel.
