She is a BEAST of an orchid and has now developed tendencies to topple over because of the pendant growth habit and light training for her growths. Dendrobium tortile has been in my collection since 2018. Dendrobium tortile grew really well on a mount during the first 2 years. The size and vigor of this orchid, however, required a change in her culture because of my dry climate here in S'ern Spain. A wonderful problem to have: change the set up for an orchid because it is growing so well. 👍🏼 After almost 3 years in leca and self watering, the pot size needs to increase for dendrobium tortile, as well as some added weight has to ensure the pot will not topple over 💪🏼 Dendrobium orchid potting guide and techniques.
