The Primos Hunting Monopod Trigger Stick Treestand Attachment is a fantastic addition to my hunting gear. It provides an enlarged base for my mono pod, which is incredibly helpful when in a tree stand with a crossbow.
The flexible base allows me to lean and adjust for a shot without readjusting the placement of the mono pod on the platform. The strap that comes with it to hold it to your leg is useful, but I choose not to use it to minimize what I haul into the woods.
I have used this attachment while ground hunting with both my crossbow and gun and it works very well, although I prefer a bipod for added stability when resting.
The only downside to this attachment is that it makes the mono pod heavier and potentially cumbersome, but its worth it for the added stability and improved hunting experience.
Its great for both ground hunting and tree stand hunting, and I appreciate that it doesnt touch the ground or get stuck in the dirt.
The gaps between the platform studs were too wide for a regular monopod, but this attachment solved that problem for me and allowed me to position myself for better shots.
