With the recent warm weather here in southern Alberta many people are looking forward to driving off to a campground this weekend.

Waterton Lakes National Park is no exception.

Christy Gustavison, the visitor experience manager for the park updated us on if the campgrounds are full and if there is a potential fire hazard in the mountain regions.

A watercraft and pedestrian trail between Waterton Lakes National Park and Glacier National Park will soon be reopened for the summer season.

Staff say the Goat Haunt area will be ready for visitors on June 24.
