Katia specialises in consumption-related issues and is a founder of the International research network on Sustainable Fashion Consumption, a community of 150 researchers and practitioners around the world.

In early 2022, Katia created a circular fashion start-up called Well Rounded - a one stop shop for underwear for children and adults responsibly made and recycled in Europe.

This award-winning start-up is a pilot project that aims, first and foremost, to prove that it is possible to create a local and circular value chain in Europe while offering an attractive and competitively-priced product.
