1986 UFO 🇺🇸 case: Dr.Haines on the JAL1628 Flight Over Alaska.

On the evening of November 17th of 1986, Japan Airlines flight 1628, a Boeing 747-200F cargo aircraft, was en route from Paris to a layover in Anchorage, Alaska on its way to Tokyo. The three-person crew was led by pilot Kenju Terauchi, who would go on to report a seemingly inexplicable encounter in the skies over northern Alaska as they approached the airport in Anchorage.

The story told by Captain  Terauchi, potentially corroborated by his First Officer, Takanori Tamefuji, and his flight engineer, Yoshie Tsukuba, would go on to become the stuff of legends.

He has also investigated numerous aviation accidents and incidents for the U.S. Federal Aviation Authority and attorneys.

He serves on the Safety and the Human Factors Committees of the Aerospace Medical Association and is a member of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators.

Dr. Haines has written three books on UFO topics and over 50 scientific and technical articles as well as 20 serious articles on unidentified aerial phenomena.
