Texas to deploy inflatable border along Rio Grande River in Eagle Pass

Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared on Thursday that an inflatable border was being erected along the Texas-Mexico border to enhance the deterrence of illegal immigration into the country.

These floating barriers are designed to dissuade illegal crossings at key locations along the Rio Grande River, with the initial installation of 1,000 feet planned near Eagle Pass.

Images of the inflatable barriers depict interconnected inflatable spheres that rotate when someone tries to climb them, Fox News has reported.
