Trump loses two lawyers just hours after being indicted

In a surprising turn of events, two of Donald Trump’s key lawyers, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, abruptly resigned from his defense team on Friday.

This development came shortly after the news broke about Trump and a close aide being indicted on charges related to their handling of classified documents, Politico has reported.

Trusty and Rowley, who had been leading Trump’s legal team in Washington, D.C., for several months and were frequently seen at the federal courthouse, stated that they would no longer represent Trump in matters being investigated and prosecuted by special counsel Jack Smith.
